RUSH Xi Delta Theta

 Welcome to the website of Xi Delta Theta Sorority. We are a local Carleton based sorority from Ottawa. We have sisters from Carleton University the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College as well.

So you're thinking about RUSHing a sorority, and you came here to figure out what we are all about and if this is as good fit for you.   The sisters of Xi Delta Theta are a great group of girls who are as diverse as the schools that they come from.  But what is a sorority?  Is it just a crazy party?  Well,  yes and no, you can definitely look forward to having fun with the sisters of Xi Delta Theta and other sororities and fraternities we mix with, but a sorority is about sisterhood and community.  We engage in sisterhood bonding activities, like our lockdowns and girls night during RUSH, but we also try to give back to the community through our philanthropic work.  We support a number of organizations including:  Big Sisters of Ottawa, The Cancer Foundation, The Ottawa Mission, Christie Lake Camp, The Humane Society and Interval House.  Our main charity though is the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, for which we throw an annual pub night to raise money in memory of Amelia Leigh L'Homme, a sister who passed away during her active membership due to the disease.  

Xi Delta Theta has a long standing history of being a rather small sorority because we are local.  This means we have the opportunity to get to know each other extremely well, and form a real sisterhood, one that lasts a life time.  We are sure that you will be able to find a place among us or if nothing else have an excellent time at one of our events.  So come and find out if Xi Delta Theta Sorority is right for you!
